Judith Aartsen
My name is Judith and I immediately fell for the subject of biological rhythms when I read it in the vacancy that asked for a science communicator at the BioClock Consortium. I also work as an experienced curator at the Museon-Omniversum, where I am developing an exhibition about the cause of mass extinctions and the effect on biodiversity.
In September ’24 I started at BioClock, where I’m carefully positioned among the scientists, to highlight all kinds of results & activities from BioClock. I live close to the LUMC and I can walk there in no time. But in my spare time I like to make longer walks. In recent years I have walked large parts of the Camino to Santiago de Compostela, a magical experience. I also commute by bike to The Hague, am actively rowing in and around Leiden every week, dance a lot, set course for a more sustainable lifestyle and celebrate life with family and friends. I am looking forward to getting to know you!
