Description of project
I will investigate how artificial light affects insects, specifically moths, and the relation with their predators, such as birds and bats. Light at night has been drastically increased in the past years. This light pollution has been shown to impact organisms in a variety of ways and complex processes such as predator-prey interactions are very vulnerable to this. This endangers species and ultimatly affects biodiversity.
The goal of this project is to provide concrete solutions to protect biodiversity, specifically on insect species.
