On April 14, 2025 the 3rd annual Chronobiology meeting will take place in the historic ‘Stadstimmerhuis‘ in Rotterdam. (This name refers to the old craft of carpenter who worked for the city council.) A full day symposium, focusing on the research on circadian biology and biological rhythms in Society, Care, Nature and Biodiversity.
The program will be filled with a variety of presentations, covering the wide spectrum of chronobiology in nightshifts, therapies and responses in humans, animals, fish, insects, plants, etc..
In due course we will send out an invitation for submitting abstracts, whereby the organising committee will make a selection to give an oral presentation. Alternatively, a variety of poster presentations will be enjoyed during the breaks and lunch.
We are currently in the process of inviting the speakers.

With this program we aim to offer a wide spectrum of all the chronobiology work that is done in the Netherlands and inspire others to advance chronobiology research and implementation of research results in society.
To partly cover the costs of the event, we plan to request an admission fee of 50 euros pp. However since we value the participation of young students, they will not be charged the fee. For the core BioClock researchers, your fee is already covered by the BioClock Consortium.
This symposium is organized and partly funded by NWO/ the BioClock consortium, a 6 year research project on the effects of the biological clock, light pollution, night shifts and therapies on humans, animals, insects, fish and plants.
