De opening vond plaats onder leiding van Prof. Joke Meijer namens het Bioclock Consortium, en werd bijgewoond door de burgemeester van Leiden en het bestuur van de Schooltuinenvereniging.\nHet Bioklok Tuintje is een bijzondere plek waar kinderen op een speelse en interactieve manier kennismaken met hun biologische klok. Door te leren over dag- en nachtritmes ontdekken zij hoe deze ritmes invloed hebben op planten, dieren \u00e9n op henzelf. Planten vormen een levendig en duidelijk voorbeeld: ze openen en sluiten hun bladeren, groeien richting het licht en reageren op dag en nacht. Zo krijgen kinderen op een natuurlijke manier inzicht in hun eigen ritme en gezondheid.\nMet dit initiatief wordt een belangrijke stap gezet richting meer bewustzijn over het belang van natuurlijke ritmes \u2013 juist bij de jongste generatie.\nMeer weten over het project? The opening was led by Prof. Joke Meijer on behalf of the Bioclock Consortium and attended by the mayor of Leiden and the board of the School Garden Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bioclock Garden is a unique space where children are introduced to the concept of the <em>biological clock<\/em> in a playful and interactive way. By learning about day and night rhythms, they discover how these rhythms influence plants, animals, and themselves. Plants serve as vivid and tangible examples\u2014opening and closing their leaves, growing toward the light, and responding to changes in daylight\u2014helping children better understand nature\u2019s timing and their own internal clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative marks an important step in raising awareness about the importance of natural rhythms, especially among younger generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to learn more about the project?
